Mobile AR Game: Reform Shooter

Inspired by the heavy strike that hit France in December 2019 as response to the reforms of the Macron government, me and my team mate wanted to create an AR application referencing to the current situation.

Our objective was to show in a satiric way how people might perceive themselves within the latest political decisions taken. The game was developed using Unity 3D and in particular the Vuforia package for Augmented Reality along with the Unity physics engine.

The unity project consists of 2 scenes. The first scene is the landing screen, presenting the main menu that is composed by PLAY, Instructions, HighScore and Quit option. Once pressing play, the app leads the player to the play scene. In the play scene in the upper left hand corner, the current HighScore (lowest time) can be found and beneath the time the current game is already lasting.

The canvas in the middle of the screen asks the player to scan a student card. Once the card is scanned the animated workers appear (instructions phase). After that it asks to scan a folded 5 Euro bill, which leads to President Macron appearing on top of it. Following the player can then shot the workers by moving the 5 Euro bill in his hand.

Once all workers are eliminated, a success panel pops up, which rates the time needed to reform the workers. The player is offered to play again by pressing a button on the canvas.

Seems I wrote a long paragraph without using any punctuation. So that would be all for this great or at least good looking page.
